Arts on the Edge strives to support and promote the Kimberley arts community and to offer opportunities for artists and performers from across our region to interact with and learn from one another. This year’s festival has expanded to include a gala opening for our Juried Exhibitions, featuring a performance by Kimberley Summer Theatre; a kickoff downtown street party; two days of free, live outdoor music, dance and theatrical performances by professional and student arts groups in Kimberley’s Platzl, as well as a community art project, artisan market, arts workshops, and live painting demonstrations; and an open-air evening concert and dance in Coronation Park featuring musicians from across the Kootenays.
