The Hollers

Friday August 7th

Opening reception at Chateau Kimberley. featuring a juried exhibit in the Established Artist and Emerging Artist category. Bar and food service. Tickets $15 at Center 64 or call 250-427-5196, Tara Johnson, Festival Coordinator.

  • 10pm a Lantern Parade from the Chateau to the Platzl Gazebo. A free workshop 4,5,6 at the Chamber of Commerce will take place leading up to the festival weekend.
  • 10pm -12 am in Platzl Gazebo Free concert with The Ian McFeron Band

Saturday August 8th

  • Artisan booths filling the Platzl, free demos all day
  • Graffit Contest @ 1 pm. Sign up is $5 before the Competition.
  • A weekend long community art project called ‘Community Steps’ will take place all weekend long. Participants are encouraged to donate and paint a pair of shoes in a fashion of their choice. Shoes can be provided, but you are encouraged to recycle those old pairs instead of throwing them away! Pieces will be shown at a later date.

KIDSZONE

  • 11am -5pm Local children Performers PT the Clown and Mat Dufus. Dunk tank, Ball room, Stilt walkers, jugglers and more!

Workshops and Demonstrations

  • Blacksmithing with Tony Austin. 1pm at the top of the Platzl
  • Spinning with Jessica Fair of the Wooley Mamas 11am location TBA
  • Belly dancing with Natasha TBA

Sunday August 9th

  • Artisan booths filling the Platzl, free demos all day
  • Fashion Show @ 1 pm. Local artists and merchants show off their wears/wares.
  • A weekend long community art project called ‘Community Steps’ will take place all weekend long. Participants are encouraged to donate and paint a pair of shoes in a fashion of their choice.
